Cochlea
Sound travels through the air. A form of energy, a sequence of waves of pressure, vibrations through all forms of matter: gases, liquids, solids and plasma’s. Still, nobody hears it. Sound entering the external auditory canal, striking the tympanic membrane. Listen, listen!! Can you hear it? This is the cochlea, right, is it working? The sea, the roaring of the sea … this endless roaring. 'There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, men fainting from fear and the expectation of the things which are coming upon the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.' My blood, it’s only my blood. The Roaring of A life. CP |
