When it was not raining, I went for long walks on bolus head. The photos I took were the start for this drawings. For these drawings, I used paper from an old invoice-administration book I found in my studio when we bought the place years ago. The mood I was in and the emotions I had, defined the lines I choose to follow and thus the drawing that appeared. Time represented in its different appearances: the stone, the photo, the line.
collage-art during lockdown
This selection of works were made in 2020 and 202, during lockdown. I've send 47 of them to friends and colleagues, asking a drawn or written reply. Afterwards, these were all put together in a self-directed art book called 'tijdingen'.
